What to Expect
Predominately teaching Hatha yoga, Kimmi will intertwine other forms of yoga and simple, mini-meditations into her classes. Hatha Yoga means the union (Yoga) of the sun (Ha) and moon (Tha) in an ancient Indian language called Sanskrit. The practice of Hatha Yoga typically begins with a mini-meditation or focused breath work to bring the mind to the mat. This is followed by asanas or yoga poses and postures that can be active or relaxing. A student is always free to request the type of class they need. A guided relaxation is meshed into every class to leave you feeling refreshed, invigorated and centered.
All level students benefit and will receive individual attention
and modifications as necessary. Classical Hatha Yoga will enhance your overall health, improve your
stamina, and increase your flexibility, focus and balance, creating a mental,
physical and emotional sense of well-being.
